ME Time Reviews

My fiance' and I had a massage here a little while ago and we were very unhappy about the services we received. We went in and were placed into a small waiting room and were offered hot chocolate or coffee. We accepted and right when they brought it to us, we knew we made a mistake coming here. The drinks were extremely watered down and it was disgusting. Next, they tell us to go into the room and get ready for our massage. They come in and start our massage but what we didn't expect was the lack of relaxation. They talked to us during our WHOLE ENTIRE massage. Mind you, our massage was 60 minutes. They kept asking us questions and making awkward small talk. How is that relaxing? We told them we would rather just be silent but they didn't take no for an answer and they kept talking. The massage therapists were husband and wife so they would even talk to each other about their home lives while we're justing laying there annoyed. Not to mention, the massage wasn't great. It felt like someone just stroking on my back with their hands. Not worth it. I would never come back. Save yourself money and book somewhere else.

Our couples massage experience was great! The masseuses were very kind to friendly. The atmosphere was very inviting and relaxing. My husband and I loved it and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Wasn't too thrilled with our first experience at ME Time. We went in for a couples massage. When asked about the problem areas to work on, I was questioned, "what did you do??", when I mentioned I would like work on my wrist, which I felt came off as critical. That aside, we were told that of the two masseurs, the guy applies more pressure and the woman applies less. So, I went with the guy and my fiance went with the woman. Well, "less pressure" was accurate, because she said she felt almost no pressure at all. I wanted above all else, for my shoulder to be worked on and I received hardly any work on it. It hurt just as much as when we walked in. When they said we were done, there was still 5 minutes remaining of the hour we paid for. Not happy about that. All in all, it was an ok experience, but certainty not the best massage we've had.

My Fiancé and I received our first couples massage today and we were quite pleased. Both Eric and Maelynn were very inviting and made us both feel comfortable. The atmosphere promotes comfort and relaxation and was the perfect setting for a couple. Already scheduled another visit for the week of Valentine’s Day!

The massage: fantastic. The therapists (Eric & Maelynn) paid close attention when we described our trouble areas and spent extra time on them. We had a sixty minute couples massage, and we spent the entire time talking with the therapists about what hurts and why they thought that might be and what we could do in our daily lives to improve our aches and pains. I had the pleasure to be paired with Maelynn and it was absolutely phenomenal. She clearly knew the underlying muscle anatomy and with precise, sure manipulations she relieved so much tension in my shoulders and calves. The venue: typical calming ocean-like music. But that's where the status quo stopped (and honestly, what else can you put on the speakers at a spa?). While the office was a little on the small side, it was not crowded. And the massage room was huge. It was spacious, with plenty of room for both therapists to move around the tables without hinderance. The open space and mood lighting helped foster a feeling of calm serenity. Recent massages I've had have been very generic and in tiny, slightly claustrophobic spaces. At Me Time, they truly pay attention to you and your aches and pains to offer you a completely unique massage tailored to your needs in a comforting, calming space. I will absolutely return to take advantage of their expertise and their memberships.
